Chairside teeth whitening – up to 8 shades brighter:

Although the whitening process continues for some time after the treatment has stopped, patients may see a difference in teeth colour in as little as 1 hour – the time needed to complete the treatment.
Before teeth whitening can begin, your lips and gums are covered to leave your teeth exposed. Next, a hydrogen peroxide-based whitening gel is carefully applied to your teeth by our Dapto dentist. Then a curing light is used to activate the gel which will start the brightening process.
The gel is left on the teeth for approximately 15 minutes and then it’s washed off and the procedure repeated twice more for a 45 minute treatment time. At the end of it, you’ll have a noticeably whiter smile in as long as it takes to have a lunch hour!

Take home teeth whitening kits
For those patients looking for a cheaper but equally effective teeth whitening option, then they might want to consider Philips Zoom take home teeth whitening kits – Because a kit contains lesser strength bleaching gel, it takes longer to reach similar results. That said, it’s designed to be carried out in the comfort of your own home for convenience.
Firstly, you’ll be issued with customised teeth whitening trays which our dentist will make through an Australian Lab. These are designed to be filled with whitening gel which we’ll also provide, and then to be worn over your teeth. Typically, trays are worn for a few hours a day or overnight and for around 2 weeks and leave your teeth feeling noticeably brighter.
For affordable teeth whitening, Dapto patients will be pleased to know that we offer Philips Zoom teeth whitening kits for only $450.
